This diesel Citroen BX, finished in Meteor Grey, received a £10k refurbishment by Citroen specialist, Chevronics, in 2015/16. At that time the odometer displayed 106,181 miles, and today that figure is 113,305 miles. The car has an MoT to 14th October 2026, and vendor tells us that it “runs well and is very reliable”. It was first registered on 30th June 1990, and the V5C indicates 4 former keepers.
The vendor purchased the BX in 2019 and has treated it to regular maintenance ever since, preserving a careful service record which comprises MoT certificates, receipts and hand-written logs from 2015 onwards. Works have included a new clutch in 2022, and all 5 tyres were replaced in 2023.
In addition to this service history, the car is accompanied by a couple of Haynes manuals, various spare parts and service items, a copy of Classic Car Weekly featuring this car in 2019, and a USB drive containing photos of its refurbishment.
